Hi. I have recently encountered problems with general reception on my Azbox miniME. So I was just going through all of the initial steps to check that all the settings are correct. I noticed that in the Setup tuner setting under Setup tuner 1: it says Satellite: Independent as opposed to Availink AVL6211 DVB-S2 which is what the documentation says it should be in step#5 of the Getting started guide. I have tried many times to change this setting but cannot. So is this correct or does it need to be changed? And if so, how do I do it!? And FYI I have also tried many re-boots as well, and tried to restore my system configuration saved from a USB drive. All with no luck. Would appreciate any help/info. Thanks and regards.

FYI to supplement the info in my last post about tuner setup - I am running a Wave Frontier 90cm Toroidal dish setup for KU reception only. Reception problems occuring on Galaxy 19 (97W).

What reception issues are you having? Did you correctly specify the LNB frequency (i.e. 10750) under Antenna Setup for Galaxy 19 Ku-band after enabling it? Also, if you are using any type of switch, you will need to change the DiSEqC switch type setting in the Setup Tuner menu from "no DiSEqC" to either DiSEqC 1.0 or DiSEqC 1.1 depending on the switch you are using and then go specify the correct switch port in Antenna Setup.

The wording of that menu option changed slightly with the newer firmware versions. It should now read "Setup tuner 1: Satellite: Availink AVL6211 DVB-S2 Independent". Right now, the tuner mode setting is disabled and set to Independent as the current firmware only supports the internal tuner at the moment. However, we are looking into the possibility of releasing an external tuner in the near future in order to tune in 16PSK and 32PSK transponders so once this happens, the tuner mode setting will allow the user to control which tuner gets priority or to use both at the same time like a PVR does.
