For the second time in as many majors, nerves got to Williams as she tried to equal Steffi Graf's Open-era record of 22 Grand Slam singles titles.

I am not the biggest tennis fan out there but I really do like Serena Williams, so it is a shame to me that she lost again.  I think that she is a very strong woman and a good role model for young women, and with the records that she is chasing, and breaking, I would just like to see her get everything good that is coming to her.  She typically does pretty well in the big tournaments too, so hopefully she can bounce back.

I think psychological pressure is weighing down on her too. But, maybe its age as well? Not that I'm trying to be insensitive, but age could be a factor too.
