China's Long March launch rocket.



[SatNews] China continues their impressive launch schedule with an "experimental" satellite pushed to orbit from the nation's Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province.



Described as a communication technology satellite, the launch occurred last Saturday at 11:42 p.m., local time, on board a Long March 3B rocket, according to China's Xinhua news agency. To be tested by the satellite will be Ka-band broadband capabilities.
