The fact that he put together a vague apology does not necessarily mean that he was being somewhat of a disrespectful individual he probably is just not interested in the entire situation in general which most people in the sports field really are there just obligated to do it.

I agree. I think he would get criticized even more if he wouldn't have said anything, but he probably made it vague because he doesn't want it to be even more publicized than it is. Plus the media twists everything so the more he says, the more the media would have against him.

Seriously, what is a 5 paragraph written apology going to do. The fact that he was so vague in the writing suggests that he isn't bothered as mentioned above. He is a sportsman and thus wanted that competitive advantage.

These professional athletes seem to be falling every day. Why apologize years after the fact? The truth has already been exposed and it's too late. We as people need to stop putting the criminals on pedestals and the contracts they're getting is ridiculous.
