The archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis and his deputy resigned Monday after years of pressure, an indication Pope Francis is making good on his promise that no one is above the law when it comes to covering up for clergy who sexually abuse children.

I am glad he has already resigned. Of course, no one should be above the law. No matter how high your position is in the society, if you have done something wrong, you should pay for it and be held responsible for your behavior and actions.
