More FTA channels scrambled
« on: July 10, 2018, 09:31 pm »
2 Fox channels on 99 west, Ion on 103, MeTV, Ion, and Movies on 99. Glad Rainier is starting to pick up the FTA channels like with the KATZ networks. :)

There are many reasons channels that were FTA are scrambling. This includes use of copyrighted material without authorization, non payment from affiliates, and general use of signals not intended for those using them. Many FTA dealers and cable companies are in violation of these rules. The scrambling will continue as more programmers tighten up their networks.

Rainier whenever we can continue to negotiate agreements to provide networks for the backyard dish markets. We just got the KATZ networks on board and have an agreement to legally carry them. Rainier does not want to see your dish investment go up in smoke with little or no content available. If you have a c band dish you can always purchase our D9865 receiver and a subscription package to keep your dish from running on empty.

The truth is FTA content is NOT meant for the backyard dish user, no matter what some fta dish folk may think. The channels are there for another reason. (relay to affiliates etc) Those fta bolster folk need to come to the realization that those services can adopt another form of transmission, or scramble at any time. In short the fta user is at the mercy of the owner's decisions about their channels and can't do anything about it.

Why do you think Rainier spends countless hours and financial resources negotiating contracts with providers. This insures us that we can continue to deliver those channels to our subscribers. FTA folk laugh at Rainier for one reason or another thinking they have it all, but they don't. Content is what sells products. With offerings diminishing for fta folk at an alarming rate, soon many will be left with a handful of shopping, non English and religious channels to watch. Sales of fta receivers wont fair well without decent content. On the other hand Rainier continues to acquire more and more content. Watch for more great channel addition announcements soon. We're also going to be rolling out our new Mighty Mini dish mover controller line. http://www.info.rainiersatellite.net/2018/10/29/rainier-to-begin-sales-of-our-own-in-house-brand-dish-mover-controllers-soon/ Rainier has dropped a bundle to get to where were at today and to grow with future needs. We welcome everyone with a backyard dish to become one of Rainier's happy subscribers. Our current and future channels will be around today and tomorrow. Can sellers of FTA ONLY equipment say that? Help be part of making C band great again. Get on board with Rainier today. http://www.rainiersatellite.com/  If your an FTA dealer you may want to become a Rainier dealer. This will insure job security well into the future.
